Lecture: Vancouver, green city, cycling city! With Dale Bracewell, Manager, Transportation Planning, City of Vancouver
Thursday, June 1, at 5:30 p.m.The saying Build it and they will come takes on its full meaning in Vancouver, transformed in 2010 by the installation of protected bike lanes in the downtown core. These quality installations – based on a practical, daring vision of mobility and a concern for esthetics – have increased bicycle use and blend naturally into the landscape of this green city, well-known throughout America for its pro-cycling initiatives.
Dale Bracewell will review Vancouver’s cycling strategy within the context of its Transportation 2040 Plan.
Thursday, June 1, at 5:30 p.m.
Free admission. Free admission.
