The newly revised and expanded version of the guide offers updates to the itinerary mileage chart and services along the route as well as to Bienvenue cyclistes! TM-certified accommodations and campgrounds. With information on more than 4,000 kilometres of bikeways winding through the most beautiful regions of Quebec, the Route verte—the largest cycling itinerary in North America—will put you on the path to a tailor-made vacation. 


The 6th edition of the official Route verte du Québec guide contains:

  • 4,112 km of pure enjoyment.
  • 184 detailed maps to help you plan your itinerary.
  • Some 325 Bienvenue cyclistes!TM-certified accommodations and campgrounds located in close proximity to the Route verte.
  • Many new tourist attractions, tourist information bureaus, and bicycle sales and repair shops along the route.
  • Details on transportation options (bus, train, taxi and ferry) to get you to the Route verte.
  • Multiple route choices in regions that include the Gaspé Peninsula, Laurentians, and Quebec City area, to name just a few.

The Route verte (www.routeverte.com), an idea that originated with Vélo Québec Association, began development in 1995. It has been built with support from the Ministère des Transports du Québec and the Gouvernement du Québec. The Route verte has also been made possible through the work and passion of multiple local and regional partners.
