It is also a series of special cycling experiences providing a different perspective of the greater Montreal area,” points out Joëlle Sévigny, Executive Director of Vélo Québec Événements. “Year after year, this week of activities dedicated to cyclists and urban life demonstrates not only the passion Quebecers have for biking, but also their reverence for this unique international gathering. ”

“Stop and think about it for a minute: a city without cars, where you can pedal carefree, at your own pace, as a family or with friends! For the thousands of Montrealers who love biking, it’s paradise!” says Sébastien Delorme, actor and spokesperson for the Montréal Bike Fest. “And for hardier types, the new Tour de l’Île Challenge is a dream come true!”

Tour de l’Île de Montréal | This famous tour comprises a new 50-km loop  starting from Jeanne-Mance Park and then heading northward, passing through Outremont, Ville Mont-Royal, Saint-Laurent and Saint-Léonard, before reaching the Olympic Park esplanade and the downtown core.
