Chaudière-Appalaches
It’s hard to know where to begin in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. Should you start with the beautiful Parcours des Anses, which dances around the tip of Île d’Orléans before moving further along the St. Lawrence? Or should you instead treat yourself to a peaceful foray on the Véloroute de la Chaudière, which runs straight through two small valleys and the Appalachian Mountains? Or what about the Parc linéaire Le Grand Tronc and the Parc linéaire de Lotbinière, which follow an abandoned railway line to the Centre-du-Québec region?
In the Chaudière-Appalaches region, the Route verte is divided into two perpendicular axes. The east-west axis, the network’s longest riverside bikeway, starts at the splendid Parcours des Anses in Lévis and continues along to the entrance of the Lower St. Lawrence region. The second leaves Lévis and crosses the Beauce region as far as the border of Maine. Discover
