Our mission

Vélo Québec aims to defend, promote and ensure the safety of recreational mountain biking and fat biking by focusing on :

Development and maintenance of trail networks throughout Quebec, both public and private.
Professionalization and capacity building of the community (elected⸱es, managers, planners, encadrant⸱es).
Expansion and consolidation of local facilities (bike parks, park and schoolyard facilities)
The blossoming of local and regional associations (clubs and organizations involved in trail development and maintenance or the organization of activities)

By bringing together the different⸱es intervening⸱es and putting its expertise, resources and dynamism at their service, Vélo Québec pursues its mandate to encourage the practice and safety of cycling while participating in the development of an original and competitive tourism product.
