Vélo Québec's geomatics team uses or implements invaluable georeferenced databases to create its road maps and guides for cyclists.

Choice of routes
Based on an analysis of available data (road and cycling networks, tourist attractions, services, etc.) and drawing on the experience of your team members and ours, we'll work with you to design cycling routes that are as beautiful and enjoyable as they are varied.
Whether gastronomic, sporting or family-oriented, these one- or multi-day tours can include accommodation, such as Bienvenue cyclistes! establishments, and services for cyclists.
Validation of routes
The Vélo Québec team can validate detailed itineraries on the basis of available data and quantitative and qualitative information gathered in the field during cycling tours. We also take into account comments from the Ministry of Transport and regional tourism authorities.
Paper maps and guides
We put the expertise of our cartographers and geomaticians to work for pedestrians, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. In addition to collecting geographic data, we also analyze and process it. In both our guides and our maps, the high precision of the data is enhanced by a carefully designed graphic grid. Practical and tourist information completes the picture.
We produce maps and paper guides of urban and regional cycling networks, tourist circuits and mountain bike trails. For outdoor enthusiasts, we also map hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and horseback riding trails.
