Experience Montreal differently! On streets entirely closed to traffic, join thousands of cyclists as they ride through iconic neighborhoods such as Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension, Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, Ville-Marie, the South-West, Westmount and more.

Choose your challenge - 30 km or 50 km - and enjoy entertainment, festive relays, food trucks, a music stage, the Calcium mascot and free chocolate milk. And that's just a taste of the surprises to come.

Program: 2 course options

Choose the route that suits you best

the regular route, ranging from 30 to 50 km, ideal for families with children or city bikers, this route takes in some of Montreal's most beautiful spots on car-free streets;
the Discovery tour, ranging from 65 to 90 km, Ideal for road bike enthusiasts, this route offers longer itineraries. Start your day on a marked circuit to increase the distance of your urban bike ride before joining the regular Tour de l’Île de Montréal route accompanied by thousands of other cyclists on streets closed to traffic.

REGULAR ROUTE

Discover the 30 and 50-kilometre routes

The regular Tour de l’Île de Montréal route lets you explore Montreal on car-free streets, where they belong to cyclists for a day.

This year, Tour de l’Île de Montréal is decked out in Olympic colors to mark the 50ᵉ anniversary of the 1976 Summer Games, held right here in Montreal. On the program: a passage past four emblematic sites where memorable sporting feats took place, the presence of the Olympic kiosk at the finish site, plus several other surprises to discover.
