How do I register?

  • Online: online form French or in English
  • By phone: 514 521-8356, ext. 504, or 1 800 567-8356, ext. 504
  • In person: at the Maison des cyclistes, located at 1251 Rachel Street East, Montréal

How much does it cost?

Do I have to pay to participate?

Yes, registration is compulsory. It helps defray the costs of organizing the event, controlling the number of cyclists on the course and ensuring their safety. Once you've registered, you'll receive a race number that will allow you to take part in the ride and all the services on offer - mechanical assistance, first aid, toilets, water, hand-washing stations - as well as enjoying the little extras offered by our sponsors.

Can children participate? How much does it cost to register?

Children of all ages are welcome. Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. At Tour la Nuit and Tour de l'Île, 12 and under are free, but must register. A reduced rate of 8.70 $ applies to 13- to 17-year-olds.

Are there group rates?

We offer an attractive package for groups of 10 or more, allowing you to donate part of your registration fee to a charity of your choice, in addition to saving 15 % on your group's registration fee. Click here for full details.

What are the registration fees used for?

Organizing an event of the magnitude of the Festival Go vélo Montréal requires considerable resources: a team of permanent employees, plus contract workers. Registration fees are used to cover costs related to activities, logistics, communications and customer service, setting up access points to start the event, signage, producing and mailing race numbers, dealing with all the stakeholders involved, not to mention training hundreds of volunteers.

Once I've registered, what will I receive?

You'll be mailed a race number, which you'll need to wear in order to take part in the event, as well as a notice of convocation. This notice will give you the web link to the latest Tour information, directions to the event, and tips on how to make the most of your experience.

If you've registered for the Metropolitan Challenge, you'll receive a wristband in the mail, entitling you to dinner and a notice of the event, with a web link to the essential Challenge information.

Consult the individual event info-dossard for the mailing date of the documents relating to the event for which you are registered.
