Job summary
- Status: temporary position, full-time (35h/week)
- Contract dates: April 27 to August 14 (flexible start date, no later than May 4)
- Salary offered: 24.00$/hour
The agent provides support to the HR Operations Manager, mainly for peak season recruiting. He or she participates in all stages of the staffing process, and plays a key role in the field at events.
General responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of the staffing process;
- Define hiring needs with the HR department and the relevant managers;
- Update job descriptions;
- Prepare HR marketing content for various displays;
- Follow up applications in the selection process;
- Participate in interviews and update questionnaires;
- Check employment references as needed;
- Communicate hiring confirmations and all useful information related to the mandate;
- Help welcome and integrate new team members.
- Propose innovative strategies and stay on top of talent attraction trends;
- Update employee directory (maintenance of seasonal employee network);
- Participate in the preparation of various hiring documents (drafting of contracts, employee handbook, pay slips, etc.);
- If necessary, assist with the payroll process (records of employment, confirmation of schedules, etc.);
- Participate in events by welcoming recruited resources and helping with various logistical tasks in the field (what better way to change the office routine?);
- Perform any other related tasks to enhance teamwork 🙂
The type of profile you're looking for
- Have completed or be in the process of completing training in human resources or another related and relevant field;
- Minimum work experience of two (2) years in a relevant field (recruitment, customer service, events, sports and leisure, etc.);
- Good knowledge of the Office suite;
- Comfortable managing content on various social media (having played in Canva is a plus!);
- Ability to manage several files at once;
- Creativity and initiative (we want to hear your ideas!);
- Interpersonal skills and ease of communicating with people;
- Interest in leisure and events.

This program provides funding to non-profit organizations and employers in the public and private sectors to create quality summer employment opportunities for young people between the ages of 15 to 30 years.
