In a few words, what does the mandate look like?

Under the joint supervision of the supplier and customer experience coordinator and the transportation coordinator, the assistant provides transportation logistics support for all events.

What are the specific tasks?

  • Plan vehicle routes for events, taking existing constraints into account.
  • Carry out the necessary follow-ups (invoicing, payment follow-up) on reservations.
  • According to the coordinators' instructions, manage special transportation requests during events.
  • Help plan and manage shuttles for various events, including routes, schedules, stops, etc.
  • Participate in the planning and material preparation of technical communication requirements.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team during vehicle deliveries, loading and unloading.
  • Be present at events.
  • Any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor.
What type of profile are you looking for?
  • Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field;
  • Minimum two years' work experience in event logistics;
  • Knowledge of SAAQ road transport regulations (a definite asset);
  • Class 5 driver's license and ability to drive different types of vehicles (cube truck, van). Class 4B driver's license is an asset;
  • Excellent sense of direction and ability to work with GPS and map software;
  • Available to work evenings, weekends and travel;
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite.

The contract is for a fixed term, full-time, with flexible hours for a few key days between May 19 and June 3.

The salary offered is 22.16$/hour.
