The Festival Go vélo Montréal invites media representatives to the start of the Tour de l’Île de Montréal: Sunday, June 5, at 9:30 a.m.

Montréal, January 1er June 2022 - This Sunday morning, June 5, media representatives are invited to the start of the Tour de l’Île de Montréal at the corner of Avenue du Parc-La Fontaine and Avenue Duluth.

6 a.m. to 9.10 a.m. - OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPONTANEOUS INTERVIEWS ON THE STARTING LINE

Jean-François Rheault, President and CEO of Vélo Québec and Mr. Émile Bilodeau, Go vélo Montréal spokespersons (from 8:30 a.m.), will be available for interviews. Media are also invited to circulate and conduct spontaneous interviews among cyclists waiting to leave as well as with the public figures in attendance, including the Minister of Transport and Minister responsible for the Metropolis and the Montreal Region, Ms. Chantal Rouleau.

** IMPORTANT access for microwave trucks and media parking will be possible BEFORE 8:45 a.m. **

  • Mr. Michel Cantin, Vice-President, Development and Partnerships, Western Quebec, Desjardins Group;
  • Mr. Jean-François Rheault, President and CEO, Vélo Québec;
  • Mr. Émile Bilodeau, singer-songwriter and Festival spokesperson;
  • Mrs. Chantal Rouleau, Minister for Transport and Minister responsible for the Metropolis and the Montreal Region.
