From August 5 to 10, Grand Tour is coming to the Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie regions!

Montréal, July 24, 2023 - La 29e edition of the Grand Tour, presented by Lait au chocolat and organized by Vélo Québec, offers a cycling trip for enthusiasts in the magnificent regions of Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie. From August 5 to 10, departing from Trois-Pistoles, participants will cycle a looped route via Mont-Joli, Matane and Rimouski. They will ride between 450 km and 676 km, depending on the experience they prefer: weekdays (6 days), weekends (3 days) or one-day tours (1 day).

The Grand Tour is...

A 100 % bike-holiday comfort experience! In addition to routes specially designed for each edition by a team of experts, participants enjoy an all-inclusive stay: hotel or camping accommodation, luggage transport, meals, supervision and assistance on the road, massage therapy and sports medicine services, yoga, cinema, musical entertainment, conferences, etc. And this year, to the delight of participants, Le Déchaîné, the official newspaper of Grand Tour, is back!

Day 1 - August 5: Trois-Pistoles to Mont-Joli (101, 105, 122 km)
Day 2 - August 6: Loop from Mont-Joli (38, 88, 99, 109 km)
Day 3 - August 7: Mont-Joli to Matane (87, 97, 109 km)
Day 4 - August 8: Loop from Matane (43, 73, 100 km)
Day 5 - August 9: Matane to Rimouski (99, 106, 115 km)
Day 6 - August 10: Rimouski to Trois-Pistoles (82, 94, 121 km)
