Montreal, Monday 1er may 2023 - From 1er to May 31, Vélo Québec invites the public to celebrate the 8e edition of the Bike Month, which will take place across Quebec. At this annual event, Quebecers are invited to get out their bikes and take part in the friendly Bike Month Challenge, and to participate in the various activities organized in their region.

Over 5,000 $ prizes to be won
This year's Bike Month Challenge is not just for individuals, but for organizations too! It's a free, friendly competition designed to show how easy and enjoyable it is to get around by bike. The aim is to convince as many people as possible to cycle for at least 10 minutes during the month of May. AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
The bicycle as a credible and accessible means of transport for everyone!
In order to remove barriers to the use of bicycles as a means of transport, but also to highlight the many benefits associated with them, Vélo Québec is taking advantage of Bike Month to launch an awareness campaign consisting of a series of four video vignettes. On the menu are short videos featuring people who use bicycles as a means of daily transportation, despite certain constraints, such as age, geographical location or family situation.
