The Go vélo Montréal Festival invites media representatives to the start of Tour la Nuit this Friday, May 30!

Montréal, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 - Media representatives are invited this Friday to the start of the 26e Tour la Nuit on Rosemont Boulevard in Maisonneuve Park.

Media will be able to park on 28e avenue and microwave trucks on 36e.

*The media parking lot will be accessible at all times, but microwaves will only be allowed in before 7 p.m. and out after 9:30 p.m.

Starting at 6 p.m. - Spontaneous interview opportunities on the starting line

Jean-François Rheault, President and CEO of Vélo Québec, and Julie Ringuette, actress, host and spokesperson for the Festival Go vélo Montréal (starting at 7 p.m.), will be available for interviews at the start line. Media are also invited to circulate and do spontaneous interviews among the cyclists waiting to set off.

A gondola will be available for media representatives from 7 pm. At the start, only cameramen will have access to the gondolas. Photographers will have access afterwards.

6@8 in the fun zone

Interviews will take place on the starting line, while a 6@8 will simultaneously take place in Maisonneuve Park (on the Sherbrooke Street side). On the program: giant games, spacious terrace, food trucks and more!

7:40 p.m. - Official photo and departure ceremony

8 p.m. - Official start of the Tour la Nuit (21 km)

Departure will be staggered until 9pm.

9 p.m. to midnight - Arrival of participants and entertainment at the finish site

Midnight - End of activities

Next event: Tour de l'Île, Sunday June 1.
