Montreal, Friday, August 1, 2025 - Tomorrow, Vélo Québec will kick off the Grand Tour 2025, a six-day cycling adventure linking Saint-Anselme, Quebec City and Montmagny. From August 2 to 7, hundreds of cycling enthusiasts will take to the picturesque roads of the magnificent Québec and Chaudière-Appalaches regions, in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
Participants can choose to live the full experience from August 2 to 7, opt for the weekend from August 2 to 4, or take part in a single day of cycling on August 3, 4 or 6. Registration is still open: veloquebecvoyages.com/destination/grand-tour/
The Grand Tour is designed for both cycle touring enthusiasts and newcomers. Lodging, meals, luggage transport, marked routes, supervision, support vehicles: everything is taken care of so that cyclists can concentrate on the pleasure of pedaling and enjoy a hassle-free experience. Each day, different routes are proposed, ranging from 35 km to 122 km, to suit all levels.
This edition is part of the festivities surrounding the 30th anniversary of the Route verte, which will feature several segments.
But the Grand Tour is much more than just cycling: it's a complete experience that comes to life in the villages of Quebec and Montmagny, where the end of each stage becomes a moment of relaxation and conviviality. There's a bistro, musical entertainment, films, lectures and workshops, board games, a Decathlon play area, massage therapy services, pilates classes, not to mention the Escale café and the support of a mechanical team.
