A family crosses Quebec... by bike
For Véronique and Benoît, cycling isn't just a means of transport, it's a way of life. With their two children, Alice, 6, and Martin, 10, they form a family of four cycling enthusiasts. Always car-free, they get around exclusively by bike, summer and winter alike. The children, who have been pedaling since the age of 4, have never slowed down since.
They arrived in Quebec six years ago and are now permanent residents. They decided to make a dream come true: to discover the province from one end to the other, on two wheels, guided by their passion for adventure and freedom.
At a conference, the family will share their experience and tell how bicycle travel can be accessible, affordable and rewarding. Preparation, learning on the road, travel anecdotes and unforgettable encounters - thanks in particular to the Warm Showers network - will all be part of the story. Their aim is clear: to show that family cycling is not only possible, but also a wonderful source of discovery and pleasure.
