Through this conference, I suggest that you approach the question from several angles, such as preparation, the physical and psychological aspects, but also the impacts that such a practice can have on the body and mind.
Ultracycling: discipline or madness? Through my atypical journey, you'll be able to answer this question. You'll be able to better grasp the nuances of what long-distance racing can represent, bearing in mind that there's no magic formula, and that those who devote themselves to it are not bionic, but human, and certainly not superhuman.
Accompanied by Nathalie Munger (a cyclotourist who has taken part in a few long-distance events), I'd like to talk to you about my experiences as an ordinary cyclist, now aged 54, after launching myself into the world of ultra cycling less than a decade ago.
