In this talk, Laura will explore bike culture by deconstructing the myths surrounding cyclists. She will share her personal journey from cyclo-traveler to urban cyclist and bike mom. At the heart of the discussion, she'll tackle the conflict of sharing public space, share practical tools to encourage the adoption of cycling, all with a dose of humor.
But above all, she will finally dare to call herself a «cyclist»!

The Maison des cyclistes is located a stone's throw from Parc La Fontaine, where two of Montreal's most important bicycle paths intersect. In addition to Vélo Québec's offices, it features a bicycle travel agency, a boutique and a café, where Vélo Mag conferences are held.
