At once similar and very different, countries as remote as they are mysterious, with cultures dating back thousands of years, seeming from afar to be quite hermetic to the Western cyclo-traveller;

Taiwan: a humid, torrid, mountainous island, where the ground sometimes slips away! Japan: the Kyūshū, Shikoku and Hokkaido Islands, combining urbanity, cultivated countryside, deep forests and snow-capped mountains. We'll tell you all about our cycling lifestyle and our discoveries of these 3 Far Eastern countries.

About Normand and Hélène

Full-time tandemists and cyclo-travelers (6 months or more every year since 2013), Hélène and Normand have accumulated 1,964 overnight stays and nearly 100,000 km cycled over the past 12 years, in some 50 countries.
