We're the Ferland Hébert Lambert family, aka La roue libre.

In July 2022, we load our two Pino tandems onto the plane.

And so began our year-long journey across three continents, with our two children, Lexie (5) and Justin (8). Our aim: to help our little ones discover the world, one pedal stroke at a time.

Join us on this extraordinary human adventure.

First stop, Europe. From Denmark to Croatia, discover the attractions of the big cities and the challenges of logistics and the new routine of a nomadic family on bikes.

Then join us in New Zealand, as we explore the Maori culture and varied landscapes of this Oceania country.

And finally, climb the Andes with us, at altitudes of over 4,000 meters, from Argentina to Bolivia, via Chile. Come and discover the arid yet magnificent landscapes and vastness of the Altiplano. Here, it's all about self-sufficient adventure on sandy roads. The sweat, the physical effort, the wind and the difficulty of refueling are all part of the experience!

Over 8,500 km of asphalt, gravel and sand, we crossed passes, deserts and rivers.

During this conference, you'll have the opportunity to hear the story of our journey on two wheels, from the preparations for a long-haul family trip, to the hazards of nomadic family life. Punctuated by tasty anecdotes, touching moments and technical information, this talk is sure to put a smile on your face, and who knows, maybe inspire you to explore new lands...accompanied or not!
