The Tour de l’Île de Montréal is…

A 36 km car-free route through the streets of 7 Montréal boroughs: le Plateau Mont-Royal, RosemontLa-Petite-Patrie, Outremont, Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce,  Sud-Ouest, Verdun et Ville-Marie and the cities of Mont-Royal and Westmount. The Tour will take place in accordance with the health measures in effect at that time.

A 36-km party in motion

The route will be completely closed to motorists for the duration of the event – from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – so that you can finish your loop in the same place you started.

Pleasant and safe experience

To ensure the smooth flow of cyclist traffic throughout the 36 km, there will be no specific start/finish site, but 3 access points where you can start and finish. When registering, you will have to choose a start site from the 3 access points along the route – La Fontaine, MacDonald or Angrignon – as well as a start time.

The three parks  will offer the following services for cyclists: toilets, water, handwashing stations, INFO booth and first aid.

Along the route

To provide encouragement and brighten up your excursion, our partners will join in the fun. Along your route, you will encounter Lait au chocolat and surprise activities presented by Desjardins.

In the 3 parks designated as access points – La Fontaine, MacDonald and Angrignon – you will be able to use the rest areas to picnic with your family and friends and access the services offered.

Have a mechanical problem? Sports Experts mobile mechanics will be biking on the route and volunteers assigned to bike mechanics and first aid will also be there to help you. Questions? Go to the INFO booth in an access point with services.

Itinerary: 36 km

Preliminary route subject to change. Direction: Counterclockwise.
