The Tour de l’Île de Montréal is back for another edition!
The Tour de l’Île de Montréal is THE big cycling event of the year in Montreal. For one day, discover the city in a different way, thanks to a route reserved for bicycles, activities designed especially for the pleasure of cyclists, and a start/finish area where entertainment, relaxation and great gatherings are in order!
This year, young and old alike will be able to take advantage of the rides and games for children set up at the start/finish site located in Maisonneuve Park, as well as a relay at Marcelin-Wilson Park and another at Don-Bosco Park.
On the program:
2 course options
- A regular 47 km route, without cars, in the streets of 7 Montreal boroughs: Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie, Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension, Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Montreal-North, Rivière-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles, Anjou and Saint-Léonard.
- A Discovery Course with 2 choices of routes between 50 and 100 km
The start is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. and will last until 10:15 a.m.
The festive atmosphere will be provided by Calcium, the official Milk mascot, as well as Julie Ringuette, the official spokesperson of the Go Bike Montreal Festival! Our host will also be warming up the crowd, and there will be a talk before the start at the arch.
You will also find basic services (first aid, mechanical assistance, washrooms, INFO booth and registration).
Stop by the first relay of the day located in Marcelin-Wilson Park. Take a break and enjoy inflatable games, face painting for children, a strolling drum show and a Milk distribution!
You will also find basic services (first aid, mechanical assistance, washrooms, drop-off terminal, INFO kiosk).
All along the route, you will find musical entertainment presented by Desjardins. Don’t forget to smile as you pass through the Milk photo zone!
Mobile mechanical assistance and first aid services are also available on the course.
Then, the second relay of the day awaits you at Don-Bosco Park! You will find refreshments and a musical atmosphere that will allow you to finish the course in a good mood!
You will also find basic services (first aid, mechanical assistance, toilets, drop-off point, INFO kiosk).
At the finish line, celebrate the end of your Tour de l’Île de Montréal by receiving musical encouragement from Desjardins and the traditional Chocolate Milk!

Important information
The regular route will be completely closed to traffic for the duration of the event, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., so that you can complete your loop at the same place where you started it.
The start of the Discovery Course will be at 7:00 a.m. Part of the course will be closed to traffic (on a portion of the regular course), and the other part on roads open to traffic.
The start will be at the same place for both routes: Maisonneuve Park, at the corner of Rosemont Street and 26th Avenue. To ensure the smooth flow of traffic, you must choose your start time when you register.
At the Maisonneuve Park finish site, you will find the following services: toilets, refreshment stands, INFO kiosk and first aid.
Once you have registered, you will receive a notice in the mail with your race number to take part in the Tour.
A problem on the road? Volunteers assigned to bike mechanics and first aid are there to help you. Can’t make the Tour? Support vehicles will drive you to the finish site. Have questions? Visit the Infovélo booth at the finish line.
