We are open to discussing internship requirements according to the training program. We are looking to take on a trainee from the end of March to at least June (flexible start and end dates). The number of hours per week is also flexible, with a minimum of 15h/week.
The main tasks involve providing support to the Graphic Designer for a wide variety of communication and marketing tools. The person will contribute to several graphic projects related to the promotion and realization of Vélo Québec's activities, from creation to printing, while ensuring the respect and evolution of the visual identity and brand.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the creative thinking and artistic direction of communications and marketing tools for advertising campaigns, websites, flyers, posters, promotional items, etc;
- Contribute to the development of mock-up concepts so as to obtain an aesthetic result that is consistent with strategic orientations;
- Decline and adapt designs conceived by an agency on various promotional and advertising tools as well as derivative products;
- Work in close collaboration with project managers in the development of different mandates;
- Ensure that production deadlines are always met;
- Research trends and new developments in graphic design and propose visual concepts for use by the marketing department;
Profile required
- Have completed, or be in the process of completing, a technical college diploma in graphic design, visual arts, graphic communications or other relevant discipline;
- Attention to detail and compliance with standards;
- Creative spirit and ability to present ideas;
- Interest in teamwork and collaboration;
- Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and Adobe Premiere;
- An interest in leisure and events (an asset).
