Job summary

This person's main mandate is to prepare and box volunteer materials for the Festival Go vélo Montréal. In support of the team, he or she is also involved in planning training courses and registering volunteers.

General responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare the materials and resources required for the canning operation;
  • Ensure the execution, verification and smooth running of the operation;
  • Punctually manage a team of volunteers (4 to 5 people) for various tasks;
  • Participate as needed in the recruitment and registration of volunteers for the Go vélo Montréal Festival;
  • During events, act as operations manager (welcoming volunteers, supervising areas, set-up and tear-down);
  • Perform any other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor.
Special job requirements
  • College diploma or relevant experience;
  • Experience of working with the Office suite; proficiency in Excel and File Maker (an asset);
  • Highly meticulous, autonomous and highly organized;
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Be available to work at events on the weekend of May 29, 30 and 31, 2026.

NOMINATION AND OTHER DETAILS

  • Temporary contract, 3 to 5 days a week (140h spread over 5 weeks).
  • Working hours are on weekdays, with the exception of shifts during the Festival.
  • Contract: May 4 to June 5, 2026 (5 weeks).
  • Salary offered: 19.60$/hour
