A new edition of the Official Route verte Guide!

Montreal, Thursday, May 3, 2018 - Vélo Québec unveils the new edition of the Official Guide to Route verte, North America's longest cycling route. Starting today, the 9th edition of La Route verte du Québec - Official itinerary and services guide, which complements the interactive cartography found on its website www.routeverte.com.

This new edition, now available in a much more practical format for cyclists, features 5,300 km of cycling routes across Quebec. It features a brand-new graphic layout, updating the national cycling network and the services available to cyclists (tourist attractions, tourist information offices, parking lots, rest areas, etc.).

The new edition includes :

  • More than 5,300 km of cycle routes;
  • 229 detailed maps to plan your route;
  • Nearly 500 accommodations and campsites certified Bienvenue cyclistes!. This certification guarantees a welcome and services adapted to the needs of bicycle travelers;
  • Several itinerary choices, including Sépaq network destinations;
  • Several new regional tourist attractions;
  • The most beautiful villages in Quebec crossed by the Route verte;
  • Tourist information offices along the route;
  • Information on alternative transportation (buses, trains, cabs, ferries, luggage carriers, etc.) to access Route verte.

 

The Official Guide to the Route verte is the only guide available that includes the entire up-to-date itinerary of the Route verte in Quebec. A must-have for planning your cycling vacation! The Guide is available today in bookstores, at the Maison des cyclistes (1251, rue Rachel Est, Montréal) and online at : www.velo.qc.ca
