NOTICE OF APPOINTMENT
Montréal, October 16, 2019 - Suzanne Lareau, President and CEO of Vélo Québec, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrée Gervais as General Manager of Vélo Québec Voyages. In her new role, Ms. Gervais will work to implement new business strategies and develop new travel products, helping to increase the range and diversity of cycling trips on the world's most beautiful circuits.
Having worked in the tourism industry for over 35 years, Ms. Gervais has spent her entire career with tour operator Vacances Transat and the airline Air Transat, where she held the positions of Director, Revenue Management and Senior Director, Transportation and Revenue Management/Fares for the European market. Finally, in 2010, she was appointed Vice-President Transportation and Revenue Management Europe Market.
His vast experience in the travel industry, his clear vision of the issues and his leadership, combined with the unique expertise of the Vélo Québec team, will create a professional team unrivalled in the bicycle travel industry.
