Montreal, Thursday, April 11, 2019 - Vélo Québec unveils the Go vélo Montréal Festival, taking place from May 26 to June 2. Presented by Les Producteurs de lait du Québec, the Festival invites cycling enthusiasts to register now to take part in its major popular events: the Metropolitan challenge, the Tour la Nuit, which this year features an unprecedented visit to the Olympic Stadium and, of course, the Tour de l’Île de Montréal, where the spokesman Émile Bilodeau, accompanied by his guests Lou-Adriane Cassidy, Jérôme 50 and his musicians, will kick things off in song on Sunday June 2.
« I'm delighted to be back on stage at the 35th Tour de l’Île de Montréal this year. I had such a great time last year! Being a spokesperson is my way of promoting the cause of cycling. Sign up, there'll be thousands of us out having fun in the streets, and the city will be all about bikes! »declares Émile Bilodeau,singer-songwriter and spokesperson for the Go vélo Montréal Festival.
« Day or night, the Festival Go vélo Montréal is a chance to discover our city in the most beautiful way, on two wheels and without cars. This year, the experience will be even more memorable at Tour la Nuit, with the joyous cyclists passing through the Olympic Stadium itself. A guaranteed wow! »tells us Joëlle Sévigny, general manager of Vélo Québec Événements et Voyages.
