Montreal, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 - From August 3 to 9, an impressive caravan of cyclists will take to the roads of the magnificent Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region on the occasion of the Grand Tour Desjardins, organized by Vélo Québec. The cyclists are expected in Chicoutimi, from where they will set off. They will pedal between 400 km and 873 km - almost half of which will be on the Route verte (#Routeverte) - in 7 days on a circuit linking the stage towns of Saint-Bruno, Roberval and Dolbeau-Mistassini. Cyclists can choose to experience the Grand Tour Desjardins at their own pace, in a 7-day, 3-day or 1-day package.

Day 2 - Sunday, August 4: Saint-Bruno to Roberval
Day 3 - Monday, August 5: Loop day from Roberval
Day 4 - Tuesday, August 6: Roberval to Dolbeau-Mistassini
Day 5 - Wednesday, August 7: Dolbeau-Mistassini to Alma
Day 6 - Thursday, August 8: Loop day from Alma
Day 7 - Friday, August 9: Alma to Chicoutimi

Among them, triple Olympic medallist Marianne St-Gelais will join us for the Roberval loop on Monday, August 5, and share his passion for cycling at a 5 à 7 at the Bistro du Village on Sunday, August 4.
