Montreal, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 - In less than a month, Montreal will be vibrating to the rhythm of bicycles during the Go vélo Montréal Festival, presented by Les Producteurs de lait du Québec. First weekend in June, Vélo Québec invites all cyclists to celebrate cycling at a number of popular events, including the Tour la Nuit, Friday June 1st, and Tour de l’Île de Montréal, Sunday June 3.

Register now!

« Getting together, having fun, making memories - we've all been there! The popular Go vélo Montréal events are a great opportunity to discover Montreal and ride with family, friends and thousands of two-wheeled enthusiasts, without stress or time pressure. At Tour la Nuit and Tour de l’Île de Montréal, the streets belong to the cyclists. A festival like this is like riding a bike: an experience you won't forget! »underlines Joëlle Sévigny, general manager of Vélo Québec Événements et Voyages.

Start of Tour de l'Île en chansons with ÉMILE BILODEAU

Vélo Québec is delighted to welcome Émile Bilodeau as the new spokesperson for the Festival Go vélo Montréal. On Sunday, June 3, accompanied by his musicians, he will give the start of the Tour de l'Île en chansons. On the menu: great music and cycling!

NEW: a new gourmet offer

From now on, participants will be able to enjoy an all-new gourmet offer and satisfy their cravings at the local BBQ, starting at 5 p.m. at the Tour la nuit start site on Friday, June 1, and at 11 a.m. at the Tour de l'Île finish site on Sunday, June 3.

MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CIRQUE

In Parc Jeanne-Mance, MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CIRQUE will liven up the finish site of the Tour de l’Île de Montréal. On the program: participatory activities for young and old, and circus performances throughout the day. And on the Tour la Nuit route, at the TOHU site, the cyclists' passage will be enhanced by illuminated performances by fire artists.

A 50 km course at THEMATIC BORNES

Once again this year, the 50 km Tour de l'Île offers participants themed markers designed to make the circuit festive and the experience memorable. Every 10 km, new animated kiosks will playfully mark the cyclists' progress.

A THEMATIC PHOTO CARROUSSEL

At the finish of both Tours, in Parc Jeanne-Mance, the Maison de la photo de Montréal will welcome participants with its Photo Carrousel: a glimpse of a city where cycling is a way of life.

Only 10 $ for teens and FREE for kids!

Vélo Québec encourages young people and their parents to get moving as a family. Teens pay only 10 $ for both Tour de l’Île de Montréal (50 or 25 km) and Tour la Nuit. And it's always free for those aged 12 and under.
