Montreal, Friday, August 31, 2018 - On Saturday, September 8, Bromont will welcome the cyclists of the Eastern Townships Challenge. The event is part of Les Défis de l'été, a series of three non-timed challenges organized each summer by Vélo Québec. The Eastern Townships Challenge will start (between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.) and finish (between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.) at Bromont, montagne d'expériences.
This end-of-season classic has it all. And this year's edition will be no exception: from Bromont, a mountain of experience, the route will stretch as far as Frelighsburg to the south, Bromont to the east, Farnham to the west and Ange Gardien to the north. Cyclists can stop at the Farnham lunch stop between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Each cyclist rides at his or her own pace for the distance of their choice: 50, 75, 100 or 150 km. At the end of their journey, participants are invited to meet at the Bistro. A relaxed atmosphere, music, highlights of the day and regional kiosks are all on the agenda.
