Montreal, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 - This Saturday, June 23, Vélo Québec invites cyclists to the Laurentides Challenge starting in Morin Heights. The event is part of the Défis de l'été, presented by Desjardins, a series of three untimed challenges organized each summer by Vélo Québec. Cyclists can ride on marked routes and choose the distance they prefer: 50, 75, 100, 125 or 150 km.
Departure is between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. from the Sommet Morin Heights ski resort. Participants will start at their own pace, and will benefit from professional services and support on the road: marked route, logbook and GPX data, support vehicles, first aid, mechanics, rabit stop and meal service at the Saint-Colomban lunch stop or at the finish.
The Défi will end in a festive and convivial atmosphere at the Sommet Morin Heights ski resort, between 1pm and 6pm. The bistro, a place to relax and exchange ideas, will welcome cyclists in a relaxed atmosphere, in the presence of partners Desjardins, Le lait and Le Devoir, who have planned some special treats for them.
