Festival Go Vélo Montréal : Starting line for Un Tour la Nuit, tomorrow, Friday June 1st!

Montréal, Thursday, May 31, 2018 - This Friday June 1st, media representatives are invited to the starting line of Un Tour la Nuit, located on avenue du Parc, at the corner of rue Mont-Royal. The finish line is in Parc Jeanne-Mance.

6 to 8 p.m. - Spontaneous interviews

Ms. Joëlle Sévigny, General Manager of Vélo Québec Événements et Voyages, is available for interviews at the start line. The media are also invited to circulate and conduct spontaneous interviews among the participants. cyclists waiting to leave and public figures present.

8:05 p.m. - Departure ceremony and speeches

The master of ceremonies will speak on the podium at the start line with :

  • M. Bruno Letendre, President, Les Producteurs de lait du Québec;
  • M. Hadrien Parizeau, city councillor, St-Sulpice district, Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough and associate councillor on the executive committee for youth, sports and recreation;
  • Ms. Suzanne Lareau, President and CEO, Vélo Québec.
8:15pm - Departure of Tour la Nuit

A gondola will be available for media representatives from 7.15pm. At the start, only cameramen will have access to the gondolas. Photographers will be able to use them afterwards. Microwave truck technicians must contact Un Tour la Nuit's sound technician to avoid any interference in signal frequencies.

Don't miss the night tour

  • Local BBQ at the start site, starting at 5 p.m.
  • The Le Lait Ferris wheel at the finish site, from 5 p.m.
  • Illuminated animation on the TOHU site route
  • DJ-VJ at the finish site, from 9:30 p.m.
