On Friday, June 2, the Go vélo Montréal Festival invites media representatives to the start of the Tour la Nuit!

Montréal, January 1er June 2023 - This Friday, June 2, media representatives are invited to the start of the 24e Tour la Nuit to be held at Maisonneuve Park, at the corner of boulevard Rosemont and 26e avenue.

** IMPORTANT access for microwave trucks and media parking will be possible BEFORE 7:15 p.m. **

From 6 p.m. - SPONTANEOUS INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES ON THE STARTING LINE

Jean-François Rheault, President and CEO of Vélo Québec, and Julie Ringuette, actress, host and spokesperson for the Festival Go vélo Montréal (starting at 7 p.m.), will be available for interviews. The media are also invited to circulate and do spontaneous interviews among the cyclists waiting to set off.

19 h 50 - DEPARTURE CEREMONY

The master of ceremonies will welcome the guests:

  • Mr. Jean-François Rheault, President and CEO, Vélo Québec;
  • Ms. Geneviève Rainville, General Manager, Les Producteurs de Lait du Québec
  • Ms Julie Roy, Montreal city councillor;
  • Ms. Julie Ringuette, actress, host and spokesperson for the Go vélo Montréal Festival.

20 hOFFICIAL START OF TOUR LA NUIT (Departure will be staggered until about 9:15 p.m.)

A gondola will be available for media representatives from 7 pm. At the start, only cameramen will have access to the gondolas. Photographers will have access afterwards. Microwave truck technicians must contact Un Tour la Nuit's sound technician to avoid any interference in signal frequencies.

9 p.m. to midnight - ARRIVAL OF PARTICIPANTS and ANIMATION AT THE ARRIVAL SITE

Midnight - END OF ACTIVITIES
