Montreal, Monday, June 26, 2017 - The Centre-du-Québec and Montérégie regions will be in the spotlight at the 22nd edition of the Petite Aventure Desjardins from June 30 to July 2. This year, cyclists will take to the roads between Drummondville and Acton Vale, passing through the towns and villages of Whickam, L'Avenir, Lefebvre, Sainte-Cécile-de-Milton, Saint-Valérien-de-Milton, Saint-Liboire, Upton, Saint-Théodore-D'Acton, Saint-Nazaire-d'Acton, Saint-Edmond-de-Grantham and Saint-Germain-de-Grantham.
The Petite Aventure Desjardins is a veritable village on wheels, set up and dismantled daily. The Village is the campground, starting point and drop-off point for each route. At the Village, cyclists have access to first-aid services, bike repair and full sanitary facilities. There's also a bistro, massage therapy, general store, cab stand and valet service for luggage.

Cycling day by day
Not all cyclists ride the same Petite Aventure Desjardins. Some will want it to be touristy, others contemplative or more family-oriented. Cyclists ride as they please, and can choose to do all the optional routes, stopping here and there to visit. Local residents are invited to greet them along the way and show them the charm of their region, so they have an experience they won't soon forget!
Event travel packages
These event trips are a must! Each year, the itinerary changes, but the pleasure remains the same. Collective and contagious! Thousands of people combine cycling, encounters, discoveries, parties and camping. With a slightly higher level of effort than the Petite Aventure Desjardins, the Grand Tour Desjardins, a veritable institution of bicycle touring in Quebec, takes place from August 5 to 11 in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. It brings together an impressive 1,800 cyclists, covering some 600 km in 7 days at their own pace.
