Montreal, August 27, 2020 - Le magazine Québec Science launches a web advertising campaign to raise its profile with the general public. «Some people think we're a magazine aimed solely at the scientific community. In this context, it was important to debunk the myths and make people understand that our magazine is aimed at all those who are curious by nature and want to learn more about themes such as health, the environment, education, food, astronomy, technologies, etc. All these subjects are rigorously covered by the magazine. These are just a few of the subjects Québec Science and demonstrate that science is an integral part of many facets of our daily lives,» says Josée Monette, Vice-President, Marketing and Customer Service, Vélo Québec Éditions.

The «It's time for science» web campaign», produced by CASACOM, is being launched at a time when the world is experiencing an unprecedented health crisis. «Having access to high-quality, popularized scientific information is more important than ever, and we wanted this message to be part of the campaign,» says Catherine Chantal-Boivin, Director of STUDIO CASACOM.

The operation consists of web visuals featuring messages such as «Protect yourself against ignorance», «Decode your daily life» and «Live non-artificial intelligence», all supported by the slogan «It's time for science». A web video of 15 seconds is also broadcast. The digital placement, provided by Adviso, is designed to drive traffic to the magazine's website and social platforms, as well as boost subscriptions, which for the occasion are being offered at a promotional price of 29$ per year, print and digital edition.
