Ten years and 200th bike donated to the young people of the Fondation du Dr Julien!

Montreal, Sunday, May 6, 2018 - Quebec milk producers, with the complicity of Vélo Québec, This year marks the 10th anniversary of the handover of bicycles to young people in the Fondation du Dr Julien and provides 20 children attending the Foundation's Hochelaga and Côte-des-Neiges community social pediatrics centers with new frames.

Every year since 2009, Les Producteurs de lait du Québec has given 20 new young people the chance to enjoy an exceptional experience by giving them a bicycle. These young people will enjoy their new bikes in the company of some 25,000 cyclists on Sunday, June 3, during the Tour de l’Île de Montréal. Visit Fondation du Dr Julien s mission is to enable as many children as possible from vulnerable backgrounds to have access to specialized community-based social pediatrics care and services to help them develop fully and improve their well-being, in keeping with the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
