Getaways

March is the ideal month for big snow outings. But as the weather is rather uncertain and variable at this time of year, Géo Plein Air offers four suggestions for getaways with a little snow, a lot... or none at all! To discover: Parc nation des Grands-Jardins in Charlevoix, L'Interval in the Laurentides, Festival Vagues-en-ville and Vallée Bras-du-Nord in Quebec City.

Reports

On the menu: a colorful journey through a little-known region of Quebec, Eeyou Istchee James Bay, and an outing on the Mont Blanc glaciers, for experienced tourists only!

Out of bounds

Follow Géo Plein Air on an epic high-altitude ski tour of Chamonix and Zermatt. And for adrenalin and thrill-seekers, the magazine presents the Bernese Oberland town of Interlaken, where there's everything you need to have a blast: walking, pedaling, sailing and even flying!

And on the test bench

Our journalist Véronique Champagne has tested «winterized» running shoes. She reveals her favorites and presents the nine trendy models of 2019 for running outdoors while waiting for the warmer season.

Bonus in the March-April issue: the 2019 Bicycle Specialist Directory.

Géo Plein Air changes publisher

Géo Plein Air will now be published by Orinha Média, a publishing house renowned for the quality of its Nature Sauvage and KMag magazines.
