Montreal, Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - This Saturday, June 15, Vélo Québec invites cyclists to Montérégie challenge. Departing from Saint-Rémi, the route will take in Sainte-Martine, Howick, Saint-Chrysostome and Sainte-Clotilde. The event is part of the Summer challenges, presented by Desjardins, a series of three untimed challenges organized each summer by Vélo Québec. Cyclists can ride on marked routes and choose between distances of 50, 75, 100, 125 or 150 km.
Departure is between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. from the Centre communautaire Saint-Rémi. Participants will start at their own pace, and will benefit from professional services and support on the road: marked route, logbook and GPX data, support vehicles, first aid, mechanics, a rest stop and a meal served at the Saint-Chrysostome rest stop or at the finish line. The Challenge will end in a festive and convivial atmosphere at the Saint-Rémi Community Center, between 1 and 6 pm.
