Cyclomini: the program is over, but the concept lives on
Between 2021 and 2024, Vélo Québec had the pleasure of partnering with Naître et grandir to accompany the cyclists of tomorrow in their first turns of the wheel thanks to the Cyclomini educational program. After four great years of touring across Quebec, we announce that the 2024 season marks the end of the Cyclomini program.
A cycling education park is...
Bicycle education parks are found all over the world. a miniature reproduction of a road network. Closed to motorized vehicle traffic, these parks offer safe, child-friendly facilities for learning about road safety.
What is the Cyclomini educational trail?
With its playful modules of footbridges, mountains and teeter-totters, its miniature road signs and its animation team, this new cycling education park will allow 2 to 8 years to play, to gain confidence in their ability to get around on their bikes in the mini-streets designed on their scale.
