Mountain biking - A guide for summer camps

A comprehensive and accessible guide for managers responsible for the development and supervision of children's summer camps. It presents the basic concepts concerning the facilities required for safe and attractive mountain biking as a tool for developing young people's physical and social skills. The facilities proposed in this guide are also applicable in other contexts (day camps, private centers, municipal parks, etc.).

Produced by Vélo Québec, in collaboration with the Association des camps du Québec and with the financial participation of the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport.

«A publication that will undoubtedly be the benchmark for years to come, and which will enhance the range of activities offered to young people attending the province's summer camps.»
Mr. Éric Beauchemin, Director, Association des Camps du Québec

«Introduction to mountain biking is a great activity for summer and day camps. In addition to being an excellent tool for physical and social development, this sport enables young people to develop better visual-motor coordination while having fun. As a result, they can appreciate all the pleasure that physical activity can bring.»
Marie Malavoy, Minister of Education, Recreation and Sports
