The guide is designed to better equip Quebec municipalities, as well as organizations and volunteers who manage bike parks and mountain bike trails, to make them both more attractive and safer, and even to encourage their expansion. It describes best practices in the development and maintenance of bike parks, based on the knowledge of volunteers and development professionals. This new guide is destined to become an essential reference for the development and operation of bike parks in Quebec, and indeed throughout the French-speaking world.
To produce this guide, Vélo Québec benefited from the support of the Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur, Mountain Equipment Coop and the Mutuelle des municipalités du Québec, as well as the AQLM.
