Vision Zero policy

Developed and implemented in Sweden in the 1990s, the «Vision Zero» road safety policy is a strategy based on the principle that no one should be killed or seriously injured using the road transport system. Based on a systemic approach, this policy aims for shared responsibility, fairness and transparency between the various stakeholders - road system designers, managers and decision-makers.
