Montreal, May 13, 2019 - In less than a month, the whole city will be vibrating to the rhythm of the Go vélo Montréal Festival, presented by Les Producteurs de lait du Québec. On the first weekend of June, Vélo Québec invites cyclists to celebrate in the streets during the major popular gatherings of the Tour la Nuit, on Friday, May 31, and Tour de l’Île de Montréal, on Sunday, June 2.

Register now!

Friday, May 31, at Tour la Nuit:

Unprecedented passage inside the Olympic Stadium

This year, on the Tour la Nuit route, cyclists will literally cross the Olympic Stadium in a festive atmosphere specially created for the occasion! The party continues with a DJ-VJ at the finish site in Parc Jeanne-Mance.

Sunday, June 2, at Tour de l’Île de Montréal:

A new departure with Émile Bilodeau and guests

Vélo Québec is pleased to welcome Émile Bilodeau as spokesperson for the Festival Go vélo Montréal. On Sunday, June 2, accompanied by guest artists Lou-Adriane Cassidy and Jérôme 50, he will give the start of the 35th Tour de l'Île en chansons. To mark the occasion, the trio will perform a brand-new version of Félix Leclerc's classic Le tour de l'île.

Add Mount Royal

To warm up or prolong the pleasure after the Tour, climb Mount Royal without cars as part of the Cyclovia Camillien-Houde (4.2 km round trip). Sunday June 2, between 7.30 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Montreal, completely circus-like on arrival

In Parc Jeanne-Mance, MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CIRQUE will be present at the finish site of the Tour de l’Île de Montréal. On the program: participatory activities and performances.

A 50 km route with thematic markers

Desjardins brings the 50 km Tour de l'Île to life with themed kiosks designed to make the circuit festive and the experience memorable. Every 10 km, new entertainment will mark the route in a playful and musical way (brass band, choir, etc.), live band and DJ) the progress of cyclists.

Always 10 $ for teens and free for kids

Vélo Québec encourages young people and their parents to get moving as a family. Teens pay only 10 $ for Tour de l’Île de Montréal (50 or 25 km) and Tour la Nuit. And it's always free for children 12 and under.
