Montréal, Friday, January 8 2021 - Vélo Québec is pleased to announce the appointment of its new President and CEO, Mr. Jean-Francois Rheault. He will assume his new duties on 1er February. This appointment follows the announcement of the departure of the current President and CEO, Suzanne Lareau.
With 15 years' experience as General Manager - North America Division for the technology company Eco-Counter, Mr. Rheault's international cycling expertise gives him a global vision of the issues related to his role within the organization. «It is with great enthusiasm that I join the great team of Vélo Québec, a major organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life in society. It's an honour for me to be part of such a prestigious organization and to be able to contribute concretely to the growth of cycling in Quebec. I would like to underline Suzanne Lareau's immense contribution to the advancement of the bicycle cause in Quebec.
