The assignment is for a condensed 2-week period, from July 27 to August 7 (full-time, for a total of 10 workdays spread over 2 weeks*). Important: theThe person must be available in the evenings and on weekends during the event.
*If the candidate is available, he or she may accompany the logistics team during the location scouting days in July and extend the contract by a few days.
The salary offered is 23.43$ per hour.
Summary of the Terms of Reference
Under the supervision of the Route Coordinator, the signage manager is responsible for preparing and installing signage along the Grand Tour routes (a 6-day cycling tour in the Eastern Townships region).
General responsibilities
- Conduct an inventory of traffic signs and follow up on production orders;
- Receive panel orders and sort them by event;
- With the help of the Route Coordination Manager, plan the panel installation scenarios (prepare the listing);
- Be available, if possible, for the course reconnaissance visits; dates to be confirmed in July;
- Correct the listings following the route reconnaissance visits;
- Prepare traffic signs as needed;
- Set up signage along the courses during events (July 31 through August 5, inclusive);
- Oversee the work of the second signage installation team (daily debrief to explain the plan for the day);
- Perform any other warehouse-related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor.
Profile required
- Good sense of direction and organizational skills;
- Manual skills (installing ti-wraps and nails—nothing too complicated ;));
- You've got to love being active! :);
- Hold a valid driver's license;
- Knowledge of the Office suite;
- Be available to work evenings, weekends, and to travel.
