Vélo Québec: from 1967 to today

We love cycling. In 1967, we got on and never got off. We've pedaled headwinds and tailwinds, given it our best moves and seen it evolve from a leisure activity to a real way of life, capable of influencing the environment, health and well-being of all.. 50 years later, thanks to you, our little peloton of the beginning has become generations, in the plural. And we're still cycling, every day with the same flame, the same energy, dreaming of the kilometer ahead.

a little history
A few highlights

On the occasion of our 50th anniversary in 2017, we published highlights of our contribution to the history of cycling in Quebec.

History of cycling in Quebec

In the space of fifty years, thanks to enthusiasts, committed politicians and imaginative manufacturers, Quebec has gone from the pedal bicycle to the bicycle. Quite an evolution!

Follow this journey of the little queen in Quebec through a gallery of portraits, stories and successes. At the same time, it's the perfect opportunity to look back on 50 years of Vélo Québec.
