Thanks to a new partnership with Essor Assurances, our Mountain Bike Centre members now have access to a liability insurance program specially designed for managers of mountain bike and fatbike trails and bike rental services. As an option, this coverage could also include related activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking.
This agreement enhances the structuring actions implemented by Vélo Québec over the past few years. It is an extension of our commitment through the numerous guides published on mountain bike trail development, as well as our most recent guide to safe, supervised practice. User safety, incident prevention and the professionalization of operations remain key priorities.
