The Vélo Mag Challenge in the Eastern Townships 2025 offers several routes, from 50 to 135 km, untimed on road or gravel, starting from Mont Orford (streets open to cars). A great opportunity to get together with other riders and push your limits!

Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a leisurely rider, this event is the perfect opportunity to explore the beauty of the Eastern Townships. There's a choice of routes to suit all levels, allowing you to enjoy the enchanting landscapes and picturesque villages that characterize this unique region of Quebec.

When registering, you must :

  • choose a departure time from one of 4 time slots: 7 a.m. - 7.45 a.m., 7.45 a.m. - 8.30 a.m., 8.30 a.m. - 9.15 a.m., or 9.15 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Note: Please allow 5 working days for delivery from the date of mailing. For registrations made via the Internet after the date of the last mailing, documents can be picked up at the following address Cyclists' House (until the day before the event) or at the start site (on the morning of the event).

Eastern Townships Vélo Mag Challenge schedule

Schedules, services offered, itineraries on Ride with GPS... prepare yourself in the ideal way by consulting the following information!

A pleasant experience

To ensure a smooth start and traffic flow on the course, you'll need to choose a start time, between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., when you register. You can choose to take either the road course or the gravel course, depending on your preference. On the day of the event, you start at your own pace. No race, no time!

At the start/finish site, you can access following services toilets, refreshment facilities, hand-washing station, first aid, kmechanical iosque and INFO kiosk.

Lunchtime

You will receive a wristband by mail, allowing you to pick up your lunch at the location you chose when you registered, either at the lunch stop (brown wristband) or at the finish site (grey wristband).

Lunch break: Information to come.

Lunchtime services, Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.: lunch, water, toilets, first aid, mechanical repairs.

On the road

Depending on your energy level, you can choose to ride the distance of your choice. The routes - available on Ride with GPS - will be sent to you a few days before the Challenge.

Our services in the Challenge : marked itinerary, professional supervision (mechanics and first aid), support vehicles.

A problem on the road? Support vehicles and cycling coaches - assigned to bike mechanics and first aid - will be on hand to help. Can't complete the Challenge? Support vehicles will take you to the finish site. Got questions? Visit the information booth at the start/finish site.

Celebrations are in order on arrival! Receive the traditional Chocolate milk and stop at the Bistro for a good beer from Siboire in the company of your fellow travelers for the day, all in a festive musical atmosphere provided by a DJ.

Gravelle bike course : 54, 68, 79 or 97 km (altitude difference between 727 m and 1045 m)
