PROFILE - An infinite cyclotourist

An avid touring cyclist and recently retired, he can now go away for long, sometimes very long, alone or in a group, around his home or around the world. For him, all options are good.

Conference - Travelling by bike with TDA Global Cycling

Not everyone has the same adventurous temperament. Touring unfamiliar regions on your own can sometimes push you out of your comfort zone. Fortunately, some specialized travel agencies make it possible to discover the world by bike in complete safety. Such is the case with TDA Global Cycling, with whom he has explored Algeria, Tunisia, Vietnam, Laos, Kenya, South Africa and Namibia, among others.

At this conference, he will share the advantages and limitations of this type of trip: how to be an exploratory cyclotourist while benefiting from the safety and supervision offered by a group.

Procedure and registration

Presentation at 7 p.m. followed by a question period.

Once you have registered, you will receive an e-mail with instructions and a link to the videoconference.

The Maison des cyclistes is a space for services, exchanges, information and troubleshooting for cyclists, and is a project financed under the Agreement on the cultural development of Montreal between the Ville de Montréal and the Government of Quebec.
