Petite Aventure: the bike-holiday classic is back for its 25th edition!

Montréal, Tuesday, June 21, 2022 - From 1er to July 3, the 25e edition of the Petite Aventurepresented by Producteurs de lait du Québec and organized by Vélo Québecoffers 3 days of cycling pleasure in one of the most beautiful parts of Quebec, via the Eastern Townships and Montérégie. Cyclists of all ages will ride between Cowansville, Farnham and the peaceful Yamaska National Park, all the way to Granby, where they will spend two nights. The main routes are the Estriade and Montérégiade, two magnificent sections of the Route verte national network. At Petite Aventure, participants benefit from a «turnkey» service: supervision, meals, luggage, entertainment, etc.

The Petite Aventure is...

The Petite Aventure is a real village on wheels. The Village is the campsite, the starting point and the drop-off point for each day. At the Village, cyclists have access to a wide range of activities and services, including first aid, bike repair and sanitary facilities. Cyclists are free to organize their days according to a flexible schedule, riding at their own discretion and choosing to do all the optional routes and stop here and there to visit.

The route

Day 1 - Cowansville, Brigham, Saint-Ignace-de-Standbridge, Sainte-Sabine, Farnham, Saint-Césaire, Ange-Gardien, Saint-Alphonse-de-Granby, Granby (between 48 and 87 km).
Day 2 - Granby, Roxton-Pond, Saint-Joachim-de-Shefford, Shefford, Bromont (between 21 and 73 km).
Day 3 - Granby, Bromont, Saint-Paul-d'Abbotsford, Ange-Gardien, Saint-Alphonse-de-Granby, Brigham, Cowansville (between 22 and 81 km).

About Formule voyages-événements : Petite Aventure and Grand Tour
These event trips are a must! Each year, the itinerary changes, but the pleasure remains the same. Collective and contagious! Thousands of people combine cycling, encounters, discoveries, parties and camping. With a slightly higher level of effort than the Petite Aventure, the Grand Tour, a veritable institution of bicycle touring in Quebec - brings together an impressive 1,600 cyclists to cover some 600 km in 7 days, at their own pace. From August 6 to 12, cyclists will pedal from the River to the Appalachians.
