Over the past few years, Alain Ricard has cycled around the world, covering more than 40,000 km autonomously and solo across 5 continents. Along the way, Alain has discovered sublime destinations, as well as the culture and people of the places he has visited. In addition to fascinating stories and anecdotes, Alain shares his advice on food, clothing, equipment and a host of technical details.

In the autumn of 2022, Alain travelled along the Australian coast between Adelaide and Sydney, discovering the southern states of this vast country-continent. Everything about Australia seems unique, from the deserts to the jungles and the impressive variety of wildlife, including exotic birds, kangaroos and the emblematic Tasmanian devils. Come and discover this magnificent country at the end of the world!

The Maison des cyclistes is a space for services, exchanges, information and troubleshooting for cyclists, and is a project financed under the Agreement on the cultural development of Montreal between the Ville de Montréal and the Government of Quebec.
